Job Description
SEO Gorillaz is a growing digital marketing agency that is forming an awesome team and there’s currently an opening to join the fun. We are looking for a rockstar Email Campaign Manager to take the lead on the end to end planning and development, execution and optimization for our client database.  

We’re looking for a SAVAGE email campaign strategist that can not only build a lucrative email list that is automated to increase monthly revenue for our clients, but can also speak to their customers and audience, growing a real community and building an army of brand evangelists.

Duties and Responsibilities

Own end-to-end email and messaging strategy with the ability to effectively evaluate customer segmentation, content, design, and campaign performance while maintaining a strong database (managing unsubscribes).

Produce and execute the email communication vision as set out by our clients and the team to meet business line goals, including setting up several automated campaigns and executing one-off emails weekly.

Develop email marketing programs (automated campaigns, remarketing campaigns, explore enhanced personalization campaigns) to increase engagement throughout the customer lifecycle to drive increased visits, sales and referrals for our clients.

Create and test landing pages for email campaigns, as applicable.

Execute on A/B and multivariate test strategies to increase open rate, click thru rate, engagement and conversion (while maintaining appropriate levels of unsubscribes), including but not limited to optimization of subject lines, copy/images and creative templates.

Write email copy and work closely with the marketing/creative team to create email mockups and build/edit email HTML templates that are on brand, clear and function across all devices.

Analyze and report on email campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities. Maintain formal process to update and share findings with team and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

Analyze email contact lists and partner with business owners and IT to ensure communications are sending to the right people while looking for best ways to integrate systems.

Understand and monitor the competitive landscape for customer email activities and strategies, provide insight and recommendations to drive the company business forward as a leader-in-class.

Engage with senior management to report on performance, challenges and issues.

Any other tasks that may be assigned to meet company goals.

Qualifications and Experience
3-5+ years email marketing experience with a solid track record of developing and launching successful email marketing programs, automated programs, and initiatives.

Experience analyzing large sets of customer data and uncovering and presenting creative ideas and solutions to effectively target customers per business requirements.

Experience managing direct response email programs with high levels of email segmentation and personalization.

Up-to-date expert knowledge of email marketing trends including best practices and new technologies.

Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems.

Ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate alternatives and make appropriate recommendations.

Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities.

Self-initiating person who operates with high degree of transparency, accountability and integrity.

Work well with deadlines, under pressure and handles interruptions well while also being easy going with a strong work ethic and maintain a personal presentation consistent with our clients brands.

Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.

Familiarity with analytical and database tools. Your own CRM tools (Klayvio, Active Campaign, Mailchimp etc.) that can integrate with our project management demands is absolutely vital for this position.

Strong working knowledge of email, internet as well as MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and/or the Google equivalent.
