Frequently Asked Questions
What is the policy on public project discussions?
To discuss the details of any project, a public "project discussion" may be started. Project discussions enable freelancers to ask employers questions about their projects, which is often helpful when requirement clarification is needed in order to submit an accurate bid. Project discussions are intended to provide a questions and answer forum for general project topics and should not be used to solicit the interest of employers, as that is the purpose of bids and bid discussions.

Please adhere to the following rules when posting messages to any "project discussion":
  • Messages posted by freelancers may not contain any self-promoting content.
  • Messages posted by freelancers may not contain any bid pricing or make reference to your bid.
  • Messages may not contain contact information or request contact information.
  • Messages may not reference items that may be intellectually protected by third-parties.
  • Messages should only contain professional language and correct spelling and grammar.

Please note: Project discussions are actively moderated. Violations of any of the above rules may result in the removal of your message. Repeated violations may result in the suspension of your ability to participate in project discussions.
