It is not in my nature to whine which is why I didn’t go into detail about my circumstances which seem quite dire to me and my family right now. I chose not to make excuses when I wrote you and I still refuse to beg understanding.

But Mat, you know what, I doubt you have experienced everything that might delay a project and still come through on time. You try avoiding mortgagee sale while attending drug counselling appointments with your 17 year old with your 5 year old in tow but not your husband because he’s had enough and left and then add to that the iFreelance #### and then you will begin to near the obstacles I am dealing with at the moment. There I did it, thanks for making me grovel on top of everything else.

Mat, I wrote to you and explained that for the first time I was unable to meet a deadline and I took full responsibility. Yes, I did way underestimate the time involved I explained that too.  I also apologised and explained that I would write the full two hundred sentences but that I would post them directly and at no charge. This seemed to me the most honourable way to deal with an impossible situation.

You know what else, I put the review in for you before you had a chance to review me so that if you turned out to be a prick, I would have still taken the high ground.

Any you know what else Mat, your email doesn’t make sense. Did you engage someone to finish the project or not?

No matter what I would have written in this email or whether or not I finish the job, I don’t believe you would have given, or will give me, a good review. Nonetheless I will keep the promise I made. I will write another 75 to complete my obligation at no charge because it is late, that is precisely what I said I would do. I will do this over time and as it is humanly possible for me to do.

What you do with that is up to you.

We LOVED working with this provider and we will use her again. Helga was very flexible with this--we have just started using iFreelance, and there's a learning curve (especially when you're dealing with upper management and working with some hard-to-please senior execs as Helga had to!). My job was liason between what they wanted, and the provider, and Helga was just a gem. She got clarification when necessary, made decisions on her own based on what we talked about, and delivered an excellent product ahead of schedule. Her follow-thru is extraordinary...she wants clients who are more than "satisfied" and she works diligently to make that happen. A REFRESHING change of pace! Thank you for your excellent help on this, our first project of more to come!
