Nitin far exceeded what I expected. After accepting Nitin's very competitive bid on the logo he contacted me to discuss logo styles and target audience. 2 days later I had ~15 different logos along with a mock-up business card and website. I had narrowed the logo down to a few, then decided to change the style of the logo, and he did so quickly. Within a few days and several back and forth conversations he was able to tweak the logo to exactly what I wanted.

I am being generous with a "1" it should be "0". I have worked with freelancers for 18 years and have never seen anything worst that working with this guy.
1) When the first proof came (6 days after awarding the project) I was so dissapointed that decided to cancel the project and go somewhere else. I promised not to post any bad feedback but I just thought his work was very dissapointing.
2) Then, the worst came...a starting gettting a bunch of emails with inappropriate remarks like the ones below:

"I know you would behave like this ... Its very difficult to cope up with the people who design them self.
Thanks for wasting my time." (This is from the designer!)

"Hey Freddy,

"This is not fare!
Because of you I had bad reputation in our office for not reading the mails.
Mr. Nitin shouted at me for not attending the mails. It was your fault not mine..you never sent any text for banners
Be careful before you blame somebody next time !"
(this is from his assistant!)

You make your decision but I would never award any projects to them.

The artist is a nice guy and tried hard to do the work requested. The quality of his work was not a problem. He could not keep to a scheudle and had a hard time following emails because he has a lot of work. He was always willing to work through any questions and problems to completion, but some simple projects I assigned (3 one page email blasts) took a couple of months to complete due the vendor not clearly reading the VERY DETAILED emails he was sent. I think if you chose to work with this guy, it is better to work with very clear deadlines and fixed costs per project negotiated up front. Doing a project on an hourly basis with this guy is a mistake because he can not track the hours clearly and he over values his time invested. I failed to do this for my projects and I think that this was part of the problem. I don't put all the blame for the problems on the provider, but we have advertised for someone to replace him due to the working issues.

Highly creative talent, dedicated workers, took initiative to provide 4 conceptual designs as part of their bid. I am not a pshop expert and I spent over 30 mins on the phone while they walked me through the steps of what I needed to get done - 3am their local time.

Communication - I found that it was better to tell them what I was trying to accomplish (end result) rather than listing out requirements. At their end, it would help if they asked more q's upfront.

Excellent value and good folks to work with.
