I've worked in the IT/Infrastructure field specializing in Linux systems for over 8 years now. I'm highly familiar with Red Hat and Debian flavors of Linux (including CentOS, SuSE and *ubuntu's).

I've done quite a lot in the cPanel and Plesk realms of web-hosting. Work I've done to optimize large shared hosting and dedicated servers has given me unique perspective for speed and security on these types of systems. This includes bare-metal hardware and several virtualization products; such as Virtuozzo/OpenVZ, Xen, and KVM.

From the perspective of in-house infrastructure, I've worked with, and implemented several VMware solutions for optimal computing density.

I work well in teams or solo. I do appreciate being able to bounce ideas between members of a team; however when there is a deadline I make the effort and get the job done.
