Service Description:
I am a recent graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration.  I like to mix traditional acrylic or oil painting techniques with a modern pen & ink style, giving my work an often cutting edge look to it.  I offer my services to anyone who needs book illustration, product illustration, portraiture, logo design, or to anyone who enjoys a fresh new style.

I generally rate my artwork at roughly $30 an hour.  I break my work schedule down in such a way that the buyer knows exactly what they are getting at certain stages of production and development.  I am a great listener and will work from exact ideas and sketches every step of the way or I can work completely independently for those buyers that choose so.

I require 25% of the final bid to be received up front to start production on the project and to order supplies.  I will then produce many different thumbnails (2" quick sketchs to flush out ideas) and narrow those down to approximately 3 to 5 of the best choices (upon buyers review).

I will then enlarge those few thumbnails to large sketches (approximately 8" x 5") and pick the final one for the illustration (upon buyers review).  I will then make 3 to 5 copies of the final sketch and complete color comps (quick color sketches to show different color palletes ) for the 1 final drawing.

After review and appoval of the color comp I will require another 25% of the final bid before I begin work on the final piece.  After receiving this percentage I will complete a pencil drawing onto the final working surface whether it be canvas, board, wood, or paper in order to finish the illustration.

I will then begin final work on this surface and complete all illustrations before receiving the final 50% of the payment.  I will send all images, whether through email in jpg form, or regular mail for original painted canvases, before asking for this final payment.  I will then receive the final 50% of payment no later than 1 month after the final artwork is delivered.

These different stages and reviews are flexible and can change based on the buyers schedule.  If you are looking for exact replicas of sketches you have done or ideas you have we can do even more reviews if you like. On the flip side, if you would rather the artist deal with all thumbnail and sketch selection, color pallete choice, and even final media and surface, I am more than willing to accomodate.
