Service Description:
As a professional artist and art educator of 12 years, I have been represented by several art galleries in Northern California that display eclectic art and watercolor.  While watercolor is my first love and passion I also work in and teach others to work in acrylic, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, clay and am adding encaustic to my palate.  I have been blessed to train under world-renowned art teacher, Gil Delinger and local watercolor sensation, Beverly Fields and Jim Estey.  I have three student protégées who have gone on to professionally illustrate a children's book, show and sell their works through galleries and local venues.

I can create pieces that range for photo realism in watercolor to impressionistic.  While I can create a very detailed illustrations that is traditional may suit the job perfectly I am willing to create a sister, or matching more expressive piece as well to see if that works.  Having taught English, the rough draft concept is one with which I'm very comfortable.  I have run my own educational business for over a decade and managed other businesses before, which has aided me in becoming very pliable and mature in terms of my artist expression while working within someone else’s budget.  In short, as a professional, I would do the job required and requested of me.  I will go the extra mile to insert creativity into the job, but my ego is not overly attached to the final outcome.  I understand the needs of the author/employer are the top priority.

I have also worked as a professional writer/journalist and have a very clear concept of communication through words and illustrations and their compatibility.  I am very easy to work with, am able to communicate very well and love to create beautiful, captivating and declarative art.
