Hi

I've had a passion for art and illustration from a very early age. I was drawn to this subject without any coaxing and started to scribble for hours on end from a tender age.

In 2001 I graduated with a BA(Hons) Degree in 'Scientific and Natural History Illustration'. In 2004 I qualified as a Secondary Teacher in Art and Design, teaching 11-18 age group. I've taught for a number of years in a variety of different places and found the experience very rewarding.

Now I am aiming to work more closely in the Art and Illustration field and build up a client base who acknowledge my skills and potential. I am highly motivated and work diligently with an eye for detail. I have my areas of expertise but I am always open to new challenges and I am strive to improve my own skills and knowledge. I have been interested in fantasy/sci-fi, horror and concept art amongst other things for a long time but I have also designed logos, produced caricatures and delved into other areas in the past.

In the last couple of years I have used a mixture of digital and traditional methods to produce my artwork. Please refer to my portfolio for examples.
