1.  Shell scripting - useful for automation of routine tasks, web enabling system tasks, automated backups, optimizations, and anything else imaginable, automated.  Free system scheduling on Linux/UNIX machines.

2.  Systems Security - This is a very broad field I specialize in and can tackle about any request imaginable, from vulnerability testing/reporting of your server and/or site, to patching the holes in those that it finds, and much more.  Be proactive and take the many steps required (or allow me) to properly harden your system and configure your web server, PHP, and host based intrusion detection/prevention systems today!

3.  Systems and/or LAMP configuration - Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP - optimized configurations, modifications as per your requirements, and if desired, highly available clustered solutions for larger or more critical environments.  Often I will offer use of my primary LAMP stack used for hosting in a premium data center on superb hardware at no fee with some services!

4.  Firewall configuration (along with or seperate from above security) - Extensive, highly configurable rulesets based on a configuration file (standard, that you can read and understand/modify), with blacklists, and (optional) custom configurations and logging.

5. Linux systems optimization/tuning - Purchase a dedicated server and not happy with it's performance?  It's likely that if you have not done any tuning of your system and/or applications that you can at least double the performance and capacity of your box, depending on it's purpose and demand.  I specialize in this as well.

6.  Web applications installations, configurations, and further development and customizations for your web application(s)!  Blogs, CMS's, Forums, Galleries, Shopping Carts, etc, all supported.
