Service Description:
Mike Gray is an award–winning writer, cartoonist, animator, director, and stand-up comedian who lives and works in Northern California.  Mike’s work and updated news can be found at his website: http://www.pencilforhire.com , and his ongoing webcomic, "Clumsy Love," can be found at http://www.clumsylove.net . He has fifteen years of increased responsibilities and experience in creative development, writing, direction, traditional animation, flash animation, character design/development, story development, web design, and layout. Experienced in Macromedia Flash, Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word. As a writer, Mike was awarded 6th place in the 1995 Hanna-Barbera Storyboard Contest, Honorable Mention in the 1996 Hanna-Barbera Storyboard Contest, and 9th place in the 1997 Nickelodeon Storyboard Contest. Mike’s cartoon, “The Three Pigs,” which he wrote, animated, directed, and voiced, appeared in the 2002 Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Festival and has recently gained a following on Youtube.  As a stand-up comedian, Mike was a finalist in the 2005 Rooster T. Feathers 3rd Annual Amateur Stand-Up Comedy Competition.  His cartoon, “The Infinite Goliath,” which he wrote, storyboarded, directed, co-created, and co-produced premiered on the “Random Cartoons” show on Nicktoons in January 17, 2009.  His cartoon, “Thom Cat,” which he created, wrote, and co-produced, premiered on the “Random Cartoons” show on Nicktoons on January 31, 2009.  “Thom Cat’s” awards include: Honorable Mention and Official Selection of the 4th Annual Brooklyn Kidsfilmfest of 2008, Official Selection of the 2008 San Diego International Children’s Film Festival, and Official Selection of the 2008 Fire Island Festival.
