I am a trained Illustrator with 10 years of experience working in the field. I have completed the Illustration track at the University of Arizona for a BFA Degree in Visual Communications with a focus on Illustration and am finishing my elective courses to receive my degree in 2009. Recent projects include an illustration for the Udon Street Fighter art tribute book, illustration of daily comic strips Love Clots (August 2007 to May 2008) and American Menagerie (August 2006 to May 2007) published in the Arizona Daily Wildcat newspaper, awarded Best All Around Daily Student Newspaper by the Society of Professional Journalists, and four illustration pieces published in University of Arizona’s Persona Magazine Celebrating 30 Years of Art and Literature (2008). I have also self-published multiple graphic novels and comic books including performing all of the computer layout and formatting for printing. My illustration style is pen and ink with computer coloring and texture added when requested as demonstrated by the examples in my portfolio.

Additionally I hold an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Graphic Design from Phoenix College and have 9 years of experience in the Graphic Design industry.  My software experience includes Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Word, Excel, Director, Dreamweaver, and HTML. Graphic Design work for my clients and employers includes such projects as ad design and layout, newspaper layout, sales announcements, business cards, logos, monthly magazine compilation, shelf cards, newsletters and preparation of promotional materials.
