Service Description:
Dubious Creative Studio is a freelance graphic and web design group.  Our goal is to supply affordable, high-quality designs and sites to customers looking for something a bit different from the standard fare.  We're a funky, offbeat studio, and we pride ourselves especially on putting together designs and websites that set our clients apart from the rest--in a good way, of course!

I am a founding member of Dubious and the group's primary graphic artist.  I am a designer with several years' experience, predominantly working on graphics purely in Photoshop and Illustrator, but also not infrequently employing my skills at photography, drawing, and other traditional media into my design work.  In terms of website design, I am presently able to hand-code personal and simple e-commerce sites in XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and am currently in the process of teaching myself PHP and Flash for more advanced site design and server-side scripting.

My previous work has ranged from posters, logos, and advertisements to t-shirt and tattoo design.  I pride myself on being flexible and able to cater to a wide variety of needs, as well as being able to adapt to new and unusual design requests; indeed, I find that I flourish most when working on an off-the-wall, abnormal project that really allows me to flex my creative muscle (which, scientists have recently discovered, resides next to the liver).

My graphical designs often tend toward the iconic and emblematic, using highly recognizable symbols to evoke the "essence" of the subject and extending the design beyond something that is merely pretty and eye-catching (though I do like to think that they still are) into a real, meaningful representation of the person or organization it belongs to.  Of course, I am by no means bound to one method of design nor one aesthetic, and as always the first priority is to make the design something that the studio's customers will be highly pleased with.
