Hi. I am offering my services as an illustrator or as an animator, 3D or traditional, I have worked professionally for the past 15 years, and I am based in London. Over the years I have worked on many animated television commercials for the UK, USA and Europe. I am self employed and I am happy to undertake your project from what ever part of the world you are from. I find that I am versatile in being able to work to many different briefs/ required styles and hope that you will visit my site at www.martindaveyillustration.co.uk, which has many examples of my different styles of artwork.I particularly like cartoon/ humour based work.
Most recently I worked on my first feature film. It was a 3D feature film called 'the tales of desperaux'. I worked as a texture artist on characters and environments, giving these 'objects' painted texture maps, to reflect the type of surfaces (cotton, skin, wood,etc) that the models need to have.
For illustrations I like my work to be bright and colourful, combined with good draftsmanship. It should be accessible to many people of different generations, and be easy to understand and enjoyable to view, with a solid meaning/message in the image.
