My name is Gavin and I'm a freelance programmer

I've been working in the web development industry for over the past 4 years. I first started as a designer working primarily in Photoshop and converting layouts to XHTML and CSS. As I became more experienced, I started to learn programming, database design and system architecture. I've worked on a variety of personal and client based projects ranging from full featured e-commerce to classified search engines.

Before becoming a freelance programmer I worked at a design agency, where I started as a designer and later moved into the project management position. During my time there I managed a team of designers and programmers while working on and completing a variety of high profile projects.

I have the dedication to work solo, and the flexibility to work with a team.
