Service Description:
Gary Tonge Latimer offers a unique personal and professional service.
Specialising in the creation of trompe loeil murals, fine art canvas paintings, portrait and landscape, and specialist paint effects for interiors, to clients throughout the UK and Internationally, especially in the USA.

Based in Poynton, Cheshire, UK, Specialist Interior Art is the business 'doorway' of an individual artist of rare ability.
Set-up in 1985 Gary has over 20 years experience, fully trained in paint systems, surface preparation, interior decorating and design, and with a good knowledge of lighting, architecture and historical context achieves artwork not only of outstanding beauty but also fitting to its surroundings.

Following the initial enquiry a free consultation will be arranged in order to arrive at a clear understanding of your taste and requirements. His creative ability and imagination are then at your disposal to realise the work best suited for you. Gary's enthusiasm for his work most often leads to producing results which surpass his clients expectations.

His work has featured not only in many private homes but also business premises such as dentists surgeries, car dealerships, nursing homes, restaurants and hotels. His clients include those from a wide range of backgrounds; farmers and footballers, bankers and businessmen, actors and rock-band managers. He has also been commissioned for works in churches and at the Chelsea Flower Show and occasionally has featured in National magazines.

Ranging from a single panel on a piece of furniture, to four walls and ceiling of an Olympic-size swimming pool area, Gary will take on work, large or small.

Commissions are taken for the following types of work: fine art canvas paintings, landscape and portraiture, murals, trompe l’oeil, all broken colour work, faux finishes, graining, marbling, antiquing, transparent finishes, stencilling, murals for childrens rooms, indoor swimming pools, abstract canvases, from simple scribble to expensive master piece.

Pricing, for mural work particularly, is dependant upon location and the time that the project would take to execute, the scale of the work and amount of detail required.
A charge is made for producing sketches, dependant on nature and detail, but this would be deducted from the final quotation on agreement that the project goes ahead. The design will take into account any time-scale or budget.

Art Classes are also made periodically available, contact through web-site.
