Service Description:
Freelance writer/proofreader/copy editor/reviewer with real-life experience in each of these areas.

Background includes three plus years at Suite101.com as a monthly columnist and more than a year as Topic Editor. Topics covered in my columns at Suite101.com were both non-fiction, though diverse in subject matter: Positive Aging and Criminal Justice Reform.

Have appeared in print magazines both in the nonfiction market: "Human Journey." "Human Journey" was a print magazine of limited circulation that sought to examine real life experiences from around the world.

Currently serve as freelance proofreader/copy editor at Entryway Publishing and as both a book reviewer and administrative assistant at Roundtablereviews.com., where my duties include proofreading and author notification.

Recent writing projects have included ghostwriting of three e-books: topics being online dating, healing chronic pain, and global warming

You'll find that I'm proficient at research, both online and off. I've recently researched and written on such topics as the cultural aspects of doing business in China, the psychology of coaching, and the Peloponnesian war. I have a strong background in the social and human sciences, with an interest is just about any topic except the highly technical. Chances are, if you need research done, I can and will do it with enthusiasm and professionalism.

My personal interests range from all things sports-related to holistic health practices to gardening. I read on a wide variety of subjects and am open-minded at all times.

One of the talents I possess that my clients appreciate is my ability to understand their needs and concerns. I provide suggestions for their feedback as the situation warrants, but the final decision always belongs to the client.

Good communication is the key to any successful relationship, and essential between writer/project lead, writer/editor, etc. I am available online or per telephone to facilitate such communication. I've found that good communication between client and provider leads to an optimal outcome.
