Service Description:
I am a Microsoft Applications trainer looking for opportunities to help others and work from home.  I have instructed basic to advanced classes in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Publisher and FrontPage.  And, even though it is not a Microsoft product, I have instructed classes in QuickBooks.

I can type approximately 80 correct words per minute and have the ability to transcribe from standard sized audio tapes or via digital recordings.  Transcribing and then editing the document is a passion of mine!  I am known to those I have worked with for being very accurate and meticulous - to the point of being made fun of, but guess who they turn to when something needs to be proofread?

I provide volunteer typing for a historical foundation in Pennsylvania.  I also have been a member of Distributed Proofreaders as a proofreader and formatter since 2004.

I have been in the corporate arena for over 30 years and understand the importance of meeting deadlines and providing fast, efficient and - most importantly - accurate work.  

I am very confident in my spelling, grammar and punctuation abilities.

People I have worked with are always amazed at the fact that I can sit in front of a computer for so many hours at a time.  When I focus on a project it is hard for me to break away until it is complete.

I also have 14 years accounting background and have set up many small businesses on the QuickBooks system.  I have full knowledge of the double-entry system and can process payroll records, including state and federal reporting.

Wow...I would hire me!
