After nearly twenty years as co-owner and creative director of a Minnesota based advertising agency I have redirected my career, focusing on my work as an illustrator. My experience in this area is fairly broad, including award winning regional and national advertisements, video storyboards, corporate brochures, consumer magazines and trade publications.

At the moment  I am seeking assignments in the specific area of traditional illustration. Hundreds of ad campaigns, magazine illustrations, educational projects, kids' books and materials — even a stint as a syndicated newspaper cartoonist — have all helped me develop a diversity of clean, attractive styles.

My former life has trained me well. I pride myself on a no-nonsense approach to all assignments, responding well to direction, and am very used to discerning what demanding clients want (even when they have a hard time articulating it themselves). I’m reliable, cooperative... and fast.
