My life has always been about art.  Drawing and painting were favorite pastimes as a child and became a professional artist more than 20 years ago.  

I work in traditional rather than digital media. Watercolor is my specialty and my favorite medium, although I do work in other media including oil, acrylic, black and colored pencil and charcoal.  

My watercolor paintings have garnered a number of awards in well-known, high profile shows.  My artwork skills are suitable for murals, backdrops, book illustration and other projects that require realistic but imaginative landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, lakes, rivers etc.

I also specialize in architectural illustration.  Again, watercolor illustrations are my specialty but I will also work in other media as listed above.

A side specialty of my architectural illustration practice is in home or business portraits.  These commissioned paintings of existing homes, business and other existing structures are very popular. I see it as turning happy memories into art.  Most often, I am asked to paint portraits of a loved family home, vacation home where the family shared so many good times together, or a portrait of the family business location.  

My fine art work and illustration work both demonstrate skill and creativity. I have the ability to adjust my style to match my clients' vision and needs from loosely flowing, painterly work to tightly rendered images. In all cases, my goal is to create evocative images that emotionally connect the viewer to the project.

Your projects will be completed in my evocative style, on time and on budget.  I emphasize a cooperative process and expect client input throughout the process.  My goal is your satisfaction.  

My studio is in Bennington, Vermont, USA.  It is equiped with the latest technology to keep in touch, facilitate interaction during the process and to provide completed images as quickly as possible.
