Service Description:
Most people would say that so-called "busy work" is the bane of their employment existence. I am not "most people". I am an expert in administrative support and I actually enjoy it. I enjoy helping someone to complete or polish a project they've been working on and perfecting. Researching, fact checking, and writing have been integral to my education and in my professional life. I have years of experience as an administrative assistant working in both the educational and financial fields and I hold a Master's Degree in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University.
My attention to detail combined with my strong work ethic allows me to offer a finished product of excellent quality done in a timely manner. I am highly skilled in online research and have worked extensively on the internet. I am experienced in authoring and publishing business documents including memos and newsletters. I have excellent proofreading and editing skills which I have used in business and also for fellow students. I worked in the training department of a major financial institution where I was able to develop and edit training materials both online and in hard copy form. I can type 90 wpm and am proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. While working in both the finance and education industries, I spent hours in data entry and also database maintenance.
I own an excellent computer, scanner, and ink-jet printer. My operating software is Windows XP and I have Microsoft Office.
