I am predominantly a portrait painter who works in a bold and expressive style.It is the human figure particularly the head and face that is my main interest . I want to capture the essence of the subject as well as the likeness .

I generally work in oils on canvas and i am happy to work from photographs or live sittings .

I studied fine art and design at University and have exhibited at the Royal Bristol and Manchester Open exhibitions as well as completing commissions for various clients such as Lord Hoyle, European Parliament members , teachers , e.t.c.
