My business, Nispel Artistry, provides illustration & graphic design. I have been enthusiastic about art since childhood and have been steadily involved in the field for 25 years. I graduated from the University of Nebraska with a BFA.  Having extensive experience and preferring realism, I have become very efficient & skilled at capturing what I see. I have mastered pencil portraits. And though, it is much more labor intesive, I can also sucessfully create digital vector art. I prefer to draw or paint from photos therefore am constantly using my photography experience shooting a variety of potential subject matter.

Growing up, I had the good fortune of studying under the influence of a skilled Graphic Designer. It was there I had my first Graphic Design job, at the age of 13. It is also where I learned a love for the trade. Even given this experience, I spent the majority of my youth creating traditional art. In 1992, I started my own business, Nispel Artistry, taking a wide variety of art-related jobs.

However, the past few years the pendulum has swung back to where it once was & I have again become intensely involved in graphic design. I am proficient with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. My projects have included, booklets, brochures, letterhead, logo design, catalogs, business cards, information packets, postcards, envelopes, folders, signs, websites, banners, dvd labels, book covers & newsletters. As I stated earlier, my photography experience provides me with an additional resource to use in my design work.

I always work to the specifications of the customer, however, I have found my most aesthetic work comes when I am allowed to be creative. I work hard & as long as necessary to complete projects on time. I communicate well & do whatever is needed to make sure my customers are pleased. You will not regret using my services!
