I began my Bachelor of Arts study at the School of Visual Arts in New York majoring in Illustration, Fine Art and Studio Design. I graduated with honors from Stony Brook University, continuing my major of Fine Art and Studio Design.

Subsequent to the completion of my studies at Stony Brook University, I enrolled in their Anatomical/Biological training and was asked to be the assistant to the Anatomical/Biological curriculum Director, Steven Nash.

Also upon graduation in 1994, I was invited to join a promising new business venture offering educational software to undergraduate and graduate students. I was asked to be the sole illustrator creating human biology, microbiology, virtual organic chemistry 1 and 2, and genetic illustrations. I worked closely with distinguished Paul Bingham, Ph. D. illustrating his Biology of Being Human curriculum and later to collaborate with him illustrating for the Discovery Channel. Additionally, my direct work with Matthew Schmidt Ph. D. further enhanced my illustrative capabilities specifically within the biological and medical disciplines.

Concurrent with my illustrative efforts with the pioneering educational software company, I established Madd Graphix, Inc. Madd Graphix, Inc. has illustrated for a diverse group of national clients depicting various medical, pharmaceutical, sport, entertainment, automobile and scientific subject matter.

Through my sole proprietorship, my work has been featured in educational software, pharmaceutical websites, online tutoring websites, car promotional advertisements, pharmaceutical consumer brochures, and sport training advertisements/website. I have had the fortunate opportunity to achieve a positive reputation as a freelance illustrator, a reputation I hope to surpass.
