I respectfully thank you for taking the time to view my profile. By way of introduction, I'm currently living in Champaign, Illinois, working full-time as a video game artist, and part-time as a freelance illustrator.  My decade-long video game career has taught me so much about working with many types of digital media, and I have used that knowlege to enrich my personal and freelance work. I would love the opportunity to show you how affordable I am. My hourly rate sometimes frightens potential clients, but I work quickly, and always make sure I am delivering a quality job. I really feel I am a bargain, and at your request, could get a list of recommendations to ensure you feel the same way.

My resume is available upon request, and is mostly geared for experience and skills gained in working for the video game industry. My abilities in game creation include the following: Concept, texturing, modeling, animation, icons, menu and "HUD" (heads up display). My strengths were in concept and textures.

Much of my freelance career has been providing illustrations for Role Playing Games, like Dungeons & Dragons. Beyond that, I have completed contract work for video games, business logos, site design, caricatures, portraiture, concept art, character design, story boards, children's book illustration, gallery artwork, other media (stickers, t-shirts, mugs, etc), and many other miscellaneous works.

Drawing and painting, designing and texturing, and any other excuse I have to be creative and express myself, is something I regard as an exciting opportunity. Whoever you are, whatever you do, I would hope to hear from you, no matter how big or small your project is, so we can explore the possibilities. Often times I am able to recommend an artist, if we agree I might not be the best fit for the job. The idea here is to network and gain knowlege from experience.

When I am drawing for "myself" I tend to draw/paint either "goofy" things, or magical, mystical, and essentially all-things fantasy. I also delve into the downright creepy and nightmarish. I definitely have a soft spot for dark and moody artwork. What is perhaps odd, is my love for creating what I consider it's counterpart: whimsical cartoons.
