I've been making sprites for years, ever since I bought the original RPGmaker for the PS1.  I found myself too picky to use pre-existing sprites and started making my own.  I am familiar with all the PC RPG makers, the Games Factory, and M.U.G.E.N. to name a few, I use Idraw 3 for most of my work and sometimes switch over to photoshop for more complex animations.
