As a software developer since 1993, I moved on to become an independent consultant in 1999.  One of the most important things I have learned due to working under a variety of circumstances is that clear and concise communication from the outset is critical for a successful and on-budget project.  When time is spent ensuring that there are clear and defined goals from the beginning, many issues are often avoided during the later stages of the lifecycle.  As a result of this experience, I put a premium on clear, concise and consistent communication between myself and my client.

During my career, I have designed various software applications and web services. Recently, my focus has been on utilizing Web 2.0 technologies such as .NET and Silverlight for creating web applications. I provide full lifecycle development services from requirements gathering to software and database design as well as providing quality assurance, deployment and maintenance.

My philosophy is to use the best tool for the job rather than to force a job to a particular tool. For graphical and UI layout, I subcontract to whomever I feel will meet the job requirements the best.
