I have for the past thirty years worked as a freelance artist, mainly producing realistic illustrations for top advertising agencies, design groups and publishing houses around the world. I learnt to draw when I was young using the traditional way of pencil and paper, and then studied at Coventry College of Art & Design in Technical Illustration, Graphic Design and Airbrush. I lived in London for many years where I worked for a major artist agent, producing finished illustrations on a wide range of subjects including, cars, cigarette packs, drinks and food paintings that were used on TV ads and in publishing. The clients I have been involved with have included some of the biggest names such as, BMW, McDonalds, Tescos, BBC, Warner Bros., and recently I was lucky enough to produce the cover artworks for Eric Clapton's last two CDs.
I love the work I do now which is mainly illustrated on the computer using Photoshop and Illustrator. This facility has opened up fantastic new possibilities and enables me to achieve far more that just wasn't possible on the board, and I feel now my work is more interesting, real and alive. I also use a 3D programme where I build models of packs etc., which when retouched in Photoshop, makes the  image much more real and exciting. At the same time if you should require the artwork to be produced on artboard using traditional methods of watercolour, acrylic or oils, this also is no problem.
Over the years it has been very important to me to always meet deadlines no matter how demanding they are without sacrificing the standard of my work, and I promise that this will always be my ambition if you allow me to work for you in the future.
