INTRODUCTION:
Some people might think that getting a Master's Degree in Creative Writing is tantamount to buying a first-class ticket on the Titanic...but I don't agree.  I believe that all areas of writing have varying levels of creativity, whether it is writing an article, developing a press release, creating a brochure, producing a manual, or posting a blog.  It takes a talented creative writer to make all areas of the printed word interesting and effective to prospective audiences...and I'm just that kind of writer!  So, give me the opportunity to create for you something magnificent from the mundane.  Like the captain of the Titanic, I'll make your document, publication, or website look like the king of the world, or go down with the ship trying!

EXPERIENCE:
Five years of magazine publishing experience in both the editorial and production departments at two major publishing companies working on multiple publications in the automobile, sports, textile, restaurant, retail, government, and waste management industries.

Seven years of teaching experience at the college level in English Grammar, British and American Literature, Essay Writing, Adult Literacy, Basic Computer Skills, English as a Second Language, U.S. Customs and Culture, and GED Success Skills.

Eight years of website, magazine, and brochure design experience.  Have created multiple websites using Dreamweaver and FrontPage.  Able to create professional looking documents using Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, Publisher, Quark, and other design programs.

Two years of freelance writing experience with over 600 original articles and blogs being produced for a wide variety of magazines, websites, blogs, and marketing publications.
