I am looking for a professional writer who is experienced in childrens writing. I have a series of ideas for books that are roughly based on life stories that  I have experienced and have been handed down from previous generations that relay a lesson. These stories are based on two recurring characters, and will be considered a series of fables. My children loved these stories growing up  and thought I should put them in book form. They are funny, exciting and educational. I will hire a seperate illustrator who will use sketches designd by my daughter based on her vision of the stated characters.

I am not a writer and have no experience writing. I am looking for someone who I can communicate easily with to put these fables on paper in an eloquent yet elementary manner.

These fables will target a 3 to 8 year old market.

There is the potential for up to 20 plus books. I would like to do one or two and see how it goes.

I have no great illusions of making money, I would just like to put them in book form for posterity.
