CHICAGO RESIDENTS ONLY!  On-site job of illustrating a children's book (32 pages), for ages 4-8.  Artist must have knowledge of how to create camera-ready art for print.  

Must have excellent skills for drawing realistically and be able to take instruction and communicate effectively.

The author is a business book publisher and is self-publishing her first children's book which is part of a planned series. Therefore there isn't currently a large budget available for the illustrations. However, should the first book be well-received, there will be a considerably larger budget available for the next book(s).
