Title: Rudimentary Tutoring on Drawing/Painting Project
Description:
I am looking for an art person for some part time telecommute art tutoring. I need you to help me develop visual art assignments ("go outside and spend one hour doing an abstract charcoal drawing of a large tree"). And then accessing Photoshop I need you to review what I have produced and give short but helpful feedback. One meaty paragraph on each assignment is fine. Must be open minded about abstract and modern art, strong talent in composition and colors, highly communicative, innovative, able to shape assignments to ongoing development of budding visual artist. Must know the whole spectrum of art history well enough at least to know the references (cave drawings to Giotto to Matisse to Rothko). If you  supply a bid please explain why you think you are good for this project.

I wanted to add an explanatory note. I am a long term on and off visual artist who has hit a road block. There's no drama here. But I feel I need to work with someone else very part time for a bit (feedback, ideas, structure, assignments) to kind of melt the ice. I've worked alone too long (in the visual arena; I'm also a writer) and feel stuck. I've been kind of over-thinking all of this. So I thought it would be cool to pay somebody involved in the arts to work with me a bit; give me some simple exercises, general feedback, humor, kick in the rear, something. I just know myself and my working processes - to a point.  I need  the structure of another "brain." I did a paid project recently (different field) and paid somebody from the outside to talk to the entire project team every day at 6 p.m. for 5 minutes so we all had somebody not in the team to report to. It sounds nuts but the process went really well! Accountability. This is not exactly  that. But I think it is related, in the sense of being a new wall to bounce off of? Thanks for reading!
