We are a small troop of about 14 boys that are working very hard toward their Eagle rank.
We also are a very underfunded group and would really like to take the boys to Philmont next year (2010).  This is such a terrific opportunity for the boys to obtain leadership skills and inspire for their Eagle's.
We figure we will need funds for 14 boys and 4 leaders at the cost of $1,200 each.
This is a week long camping experience in New Mexico and we would need to travel from Sallisaw, OK.
Does anyone have experience in getting grants for something like this?  Is it possible?
