Homeland Security Television (www.hstvchannel.com) has an immediate requirement for reliable stringers for short-term and long-term assignments nationwide.

Candidates must have experience as a professional videographer/camera operator, must have their own equipment (professional grade only) - to include field lighting package and audio -- and must be eligible to work in the U.S.

HSTV produces a wide variety of educational, documentary and awareness programming for government and private sector homeland security professionals. We have an emerging requirement for videographers who can work independently when given a specific assignment and deliver high-quality interviews and B-Roll footage. Interviews will need to be conducted both in the field (hand-held) and in formal sit-down situations on-location. HSTV will provide script guidance as well as interview questions and specific requirements for B-Roll and other footage needed.

These assignments will generally last between one and three days per project. Footage needs to be shot using DV/Mini-DV and tapes mailed directly to HSTV via Fedex. HD capabilities are a plus, but not required.
