Service Description:
My articles have been published in VCReporter, Pasadena Weekly, San Diego CityBeat, Whole Life Times, Ventura Magazine and Alternet. In 2005, I had an inspirational essay published in the book, "Practitioners: Voices Within the Emerging Church” (Gospel Light).
My corporate clients include Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort, Gills Onions, the Bridge Community, Communicore Consulting, Kismet Studios, Experience Ventura, Colorworks Inc./Open Door Media, Cars 4 Causes, Gospel Light Worldwide and Menus.com.
I've interviewed Dr. Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Mark Victor Hansen (One Minute Millionaire and Chicken Soup books), professional skateboarder Tony Alva, Sony Classic Pictures President Tom Bernard, city officials, psychiatrists, academics, entertainers and ordinary people.
Though I've cultivated a writing voice of my own, I am comfortable tailoring my style to accommodate a job/client. From investigative journalism to corporate and Web copy writing as well as blogging, my scope is broad. I've written about a full range of subjects including, health, food trends, popular culture, politics and the arts. As a writer and editor I'm from the "less is more" school. My reporting is accurate and my writing concise and engaging.
I specialize in taking the seed of a client's idea or story and bringing it to full flower through precise language and a strong understanding of the project's mission.
