Hi, I'm Dan Lewis.  I've been a full-time, freelance artist for the past twelve years.  The bulk of my experience is in magazine illustration for both children's and adult literature as well as portraiture.  However, I'm also experienced in and offering services with reguards to book illustration, traditional painting commissions, greeting cards, murals, animal and wildlife paintings and drawings, and would consider other work that you may have in mind for me.  I generally work in oils in a style that can range from fairly loose to tightly rendered realism.  I am also proficient in working with pastels, watercolor, graphite, and charcoal.  I have even done my share of cartooning.  My portfolio is quite full, so in order to see a broader range of my work, including cartoons, and greeting card designs, please click on the portfolio scrollbar above.  After my portfolio page opens, you'll find more example as you scroll to the right.  You may also view a resume describing more of my background and edjucation in art here:
