I have been working professionally as an Artist for over 12 years. I've always strived to do my best in all that I do. Working as an independent freelancer I've aquired extensive experience and discernment when it comes to the needs of my client. My past experience has helped me develop great flexibility and adaptive skills to foster my clients wants and needs.

I work in a variety of mediums including Oil, Acrylic, Water Color, Colored Pencil, Pencil, Pastels, Charcoal, Computer Generated Art and more. I've tried to achieve a variety in my work and flexibility in what I create. I'm always trying to challenge myself to develop my skills in new mediums and techniques. I have an extensive portfolio with only a small showcase on my website. I've worked in a wide range of professional fields, auto restoration and upholstery, fine jewelry and design, fashion design and construction, custom framing for fine art, portrait photography, and more. Also I've done numerous private commissioned portraits, illustrations, murals and paintings of various subject matter and styles. I prefer to work in acrylics or watercolor and I find myself doing many realistic portraits and also in a newly developed modern / contemporary style. This newly developed style of painting consists of imperfect lines and shapes, while using a high contrast color palette with vibrant relief contours and textured background segments. It's a style where you can "see and feel" the texture. People comment all the time that it is unique and they haven't seen it done before. I must admit I am hooked on this style. I know I have the ability to do photo realistic works of art but an altered perception of the original subject is so much more interesting. I feel that, "Art is more than recreating what you see. It is bringing to light the underlying details and symbolism that others may let go unrecognized."
