Since 2002 I have worked as a freelance Artist offering workshops and a range of murals, mosaics, set designs, portrait painting, theatrical make up and many other art forms.
I have worked mainly in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area with numerous schools and community groups but have also worked with groups in Cardiff and Swansea.

June 2006- December 2006 Community Artist and volunteer coordinator at Arts Factory
Main responsibility’s included leading a team of volunteers of varying abilities, some of whom were labelled as being learning disabled or as having other special needs. Delivering a range of workshops and completing commissioned artwork.

October 2004- October 2007 Youth Development Worker
at Pontygwaith Community Centre
Main responsibility’s included leading and planning a youth programme for Pontygwaith. Securing funding for Youth activities and equipment.

September 2003- June 2006 Art Tutor at Ferndale Comprehensive School
Main duties were running an after school Art class which introduced new art forms outside of the curriculum.

June 2003- Present Art Tutor at Canolfan Rhys Arts Centre
Main duties include delivering workshops at the centre to local children and youths and also other organisations that access the centre such as VIVA, disaffected youth groups, books and baby’s teenage mothers and many more. We also offer outreach sessions to the local schools and community groups.
Some large scale projects include set designs for festivals and shows, Artwork in and around Canolfan Rhys and Penrhys Partnership buildings, large mosaic for local primary school and various commissions.
