Service Description:
I am a designer with a drive for eclectic design, but I know how to keep it professional. One of my favorite projects was for a non-profit organization. I designed their invites for a charity auction. To make sure the design was not too flashy I stuck to a complementary yet subdued color palette. Texture was added by scanning scrapbook papers and forming paths implementing a patchwork feel.
My approach to logo design starts with my initial idea for the direction of the logo, but it's really fleshed out after the creative brief is completed. Before any digital rendering is done I sketch several possibilities to explore every aspect the client is hoping to achieve.
I've found illustration to be a great stress reliever, sometimes you need to step away from the computer and pick up a brush to recapture your design spontaneity. I get my inspiration from a variety of sources in my everyday environment and keep close contact with other designers from different backgrounds. The best way to stay sharp in the design world is to be aware of trends and remember, the basics are foundations for great design.
