Service Description:
My celebrity collectors include R.E.M., Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, Jimmy Buffet, Pat Conroy, Jimmy Vaughan and many others listed on the home page of my web site  http:// www.rockandrolliconart.com

This particular body of work is a series of paintings that show the aging rock and roll icons of the 60's and 70's (mainly the Stones, Beatles, Dylan, and Elvis)...in humorous and sometimes poignant situations from my imagination. The work has been very popular and has sold to thousands (counting the prints also) of collectors across the US., Europe and Canada

My illustrations have been commissioned by Paris' famous magazine ROCK&FOLK. This magazine is the equivalent to The Rolling Stone Magazine in the U.S.A. I am the only illustrator ever chosen by the editor to contribute my work. All other work for the magazine has been in the category of photography. I have also been honored to receive commissions from an Art Director who is currently the A.D. for The Smithsonian Magazine. My work hangs in his office and his home, Previous to his appointment as A.D. for The Smithsonian Magazine he was the A.D. for Preservation Magazine and The Washington Post Magazine. He commissioned me to do a full color, full page illustration for both of those magazines as well. I was also commissioned to do a two page color spread for a new clothing line. It was published in Gentleman's Quarterly magazine. Another two page color fashion illustration of mine won a PLATINUM ADDY award in Charleston, South Carolina

I have been commissioned to do many portraits throughout my career. Itzhak Perlman is probably the most famous. I sketched his likeness for his performance at the MET. I also have done portraits of famous ball Club owners, a Senator's daughter, etc. The crux of my artistic gift is portraiture and composition.

I have also painted murals for businesses and private residences in new Long Island York, Nashville Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Colorado.

Seven years ago I went back to school to pursue a long time dream with my art work. I felt compelled to discover how I would paint Jesus Christ in contemporary American culture: interacting with it and reacting to it.... I graduated with almost a 4.0 average and a new body of work. Some of those paintings are technically the best of my career to date.

My work is diverse, but if you need any job including traditional portraiture with or without figure painting- and or truly original composition, I would say my work is at the top of the heap.

Thanks and God Bless YOU!
