I have a bachelors degree in fine arts from Western Kentucky University and have shown my work in various galleries around the country. My expertise lies in basic illustration, especially organic forms and/or the natural sciences. However, I also have experience designing brochures, labels (wine labels, restaurants logos) historic sites maps, school posters and archetectural renderings and portraiture. I am also capable at book and greeting card illustration, wildlife and historic artifact illustration.My illustrations have run the gamut in that I have a high degree of flexibility in my work. If there is one word to describe my work it might be detailed. I am especially attracted to the sublime that is found in nature. My favorite medium is pen and ink with wash, however I am comfortable working in water color, acrylic, charcoal, pastel, woodblock prints and collage. I am what might be described as a classic illustrator with a strong sense of realism.
