I have over twenty years experience in the illustration field in a wide variety of venues; to include experience in book illustration, textbook illustration, screen-print illustration and illustration to be printed on products (ex. mugs, calendars, posters).  I also have experience creating artwork for websites and computer programs, with over ten years experience in computer graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and ImageReady.  In the past, I have also worked on product illustration, business graphic design and print advertising.  
In addition, I do work in portraiture, artwork for greeting cards and paintings to show locally in galleries.

The media I work in are as follows:  Watercolor and watercolor over ink drawings; Pencil or charcoal; Pen and ink; Brush and ink; Colored pencil, and Acrylic airbrush.  I am strongly influenced by the rich colors and fresh brushwork of the Impressionists; and by the sinuous line-work and colors of Art Nouveau artists like Alphonse Mucha and Maxfield Parrish.
My style leans toward the realistic; and though I have experience rendering many subjects, I am especially fond of people (adult and children), animals, and fantasy/new age subjects
