Service Description:
Our practical hands-on approach, full range of services and low operating costs are ideally suited to today's restaurant operator, who is experiencing new challenges in these tough economic times. We have over two decades of expertise in design and consultation for restaurants, cafes, and retail environments, including a substantial portfolio of Asian Restaurants. Our bi-lingual team (English/Cantonese/Mandarin) works closely and attentively with clients to renovate or build from scratch, inviting and budget conscious spaces that capture the public imagination and ultimately generate profits for the owner. We have a near 100% track record with most of our restaurants still open and thriving a decade after renovations.

The services we offer are tailored to each project, and range from hourly consultation to complete design plans. For restaurants, we are set up to provide a comprehensive design and documents package, including budgeting, concept sketches, design drawings and construction documents. Health department submittals are standard as part of the package. We handle all lighting, furniture, millwork, drapery, signs and any required interior and exterior elements.

Our fees are competitive and in line with industry standards. We charge approximately 4% - 7% of the construction cost for full design services depending on the scope of work.

We have been reviewed in national and local press, including Travel & Leisure, Hospitality Design, and Philadelphia Magazine. Here is a typical review of our renovation design for Vietnam Restaurant in Philadelphia:

“Created by designer Jesse Gardner, this is one of the most amazing metamorphoses I’ve ever witnessed. The old brick façade has been replaced by stucco cut to look like grand French Colonial blocks, exotic striped canopies flutter in the breeze around antique-style French windows. Inside, the fluorescent rooms have been transformed into a sultry set from Indochine. Wide-banded Australian hardwood floors give the little rooms coffee-colored warmth and softness. Palm fronds glow against dark wood wainscoting and honeyed yellow walls. Tiny halogen lights cast about on booms that swing like branches from a tree. They lend a kind of moody romance to the dating couples…”  Craig LaBan, Philadelphia Inquirer
