At Raytec Ltd we offer digital Prototyping Services to Machinery manufacturers, Engineers and Inventors. This includes modelling machinery to visualise movement and interference between parts. Digital Prototyping is a cheaper alternative to building a prototype, at a substantially lower cost.  The prototype produced is technically and visually a true representation of your concept. We have also had vast experience with Platt Double Roller Gins, and the model 900 (Retro-fitted) is featured on our website.

To achieve the above, we use Autodesk Inventor Professional Software.

The services we offer include:
• Parametric Solid Modelling of parts and assemblies. This will include the model, 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, parts list with exploded views, and materials lists, etc.
• Finite Element Analysis of parts and assemblies modelled in Autodesk Inventor
•  Assembly Simulation to view machinery operation in real-time. This will also include video and still photography of the machinery  

The company is Owned and operated by Ray Chanmugam. Ray has over 30 years of experience in:

• Marine Engineering

Ray holds a B.Eng (honours) in Mechanical engineering and a DTp Class 1 (Chief Engineer) in marine Engineering
