I'm currently and concurrently a teacher and free lance writer + illustrator of children's books. I am an award winner of the First Time Writers and Illustrators Publishing Initiative 2008 organized by the Media Development Authority, National Library Boards and National Book Council of Singapore. Though I've got my first book published only just last year, I've over 10 years of experience working with various mixed media and dabbling with fine art compositions.

I enjoy putting words into pictures and adding creative and/or humorous interpretations to visual writing, especially when they involve furred, feathered and feelered creatures. I work with various mediums- watercolor, acrylics, oil, pastel, markers, pencils and other mixed media. Besides children's book illustrations, I also do nature/animal illustrations, greeting cards, cartoons and comic strips. I have basic Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Painter skills and am a beginner at Flash and Dreamweaver.
