I am a self taught artist who is able to capture the free wheeling spirit of a Texas cowboy or the delicate beauty of a sensuous lady. I especially like to work with "everyday people" who freely share the passion for their life's moment, real or imagined, being illustrated. Generating an illustration is a solitary experience... but is the result of observing and interacting with people. I have had the opportunity to live a variety of life styles ranging from service with NATO military to managing a video/publications group. Even though an artist recognizes life situations as possible pieces of art, the artist's creativity must be complemented by the subject's energy to complete the experience.
