I have concentrated my artistic skills in the flexographic packaging industry for the past 16 years. Point of purchase displays, corrugated containers, poly bags, labels, tape cores as well as some offset printing work. I am well versed in the challenges of creating and adapting artwork to provide a pleasing printed product - the trap, bleed, minimum print to score requirements and color adjustment, minimum line weights and text sizes required to have an attractive package come off of the press. I work primarily in Illustrator and Photoshop and have extensive trapping experience. I have worked on low-end and high end flexographic packaging projects I have also done many color corrections and alterations to supplied photography to improve printability of the final product or to remove unwanted elements.

I have done product illustration for periodicals, catalogs and corrugated containers. I am very detail oriented and can do typesetting in Spanish, French and German. I do logo design and illustration, both digital and hand drawn. I can type 65 wpm and have excellent proofreading skills. I have done a lot of brochures and catalog layout and design, as well as copy writing when needed. I would enjoy an opportunity to assist you in your artistic needs.
