I've been drawing, painting, cartooning, and writing since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I also happen to hold a BA in English/Technical Communication with a minor in Art (including coursework in drawing, painting, figure drawing, printmaking, photography, and Art History).

There is nothing I enjoy more than cartooning, especially for money. It's akin to getting paid for eating ice cream.

Although most of my steady income has been derived from my career as a technical writer in IT, I've always been asked by colleagues and managers to illustrate newsletters, posters, fliers, greeting cards, reports, and manuals through the years, and have often created my own "Dilbertesque" cartoons based on the company culture of the moment...much to the chagrin of management and to the enjoyment of my co-workers.

I've also painted murals for company events and for the nursery rooms of several colleagues through the years.

Art, or cartooning, remains to this day my favorite "work" and past time.
