Over 3 years experience developing web applications. I have worked on several large web applications, everything from the interface design and front-end coding through to database work. I have also worked on several smaller websites, the emphasis being on markup quality with small bespoke CMS systems.

I am passionate about usable interfaces and good code. Whatever the project, I'm happy to work with you to figure out your requirements and design the best solution that fits your needs. I won't dive into coding until I understand the project and we've agreed the spec, and I won't oversell you with something that you don't need.

I am happy to develop on any platform within reason, so COBOL and FORTRAN are definitely out! I have extensive ASP.NET experience, using both Microsoft and open source solutions, and I have also worked with Java, PHP and am currently getting stuck into Ruby on Rails. My front-end coding skills are excellent, adhering to markup standards and accessibility guidelines, and using modern Javascript techniques and unobtrusive scripting.

Although I'm not a designer I do have good graphical skills...at least for a programmer! I have got a lot of knowledge about usability and will not build ugly and un-usable interfaces.
