Hello,

Let me begin by introducing myself.  My name is Jessy and I am currently a graduate student/ artist who is looking for work while I complete my studies at The College of Saint Rose. I am a devoted artist who would love the opportunity to use my skills while working for you.  My specialty areas are in Drawing/Illustration and Painting.

I recently graduated from Plattsburgh State University of New York where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (B.F.A.).  Beginning in August of 2008, I will be attending The College of Saint Rose where I will pursue my Master's of Science in Art Education (M.S. in Edu).  While pursueing my degree in education and eventually teaching, I plan to exercise my artistic ability by creating work for those in need of an artist.

Although I do have an apparent style to my work, I am very versatile with techniques and will do whatever it is that is asked of.  I feel that it’s priority to understand exactly what it is my client is asking for, and will work hard to make sure that he or she is 100% satisfied.

I have five years of classical and traditional training (schooling) in drawing and painting and have an excellent eye for composition.  Please view the work displayed in my portfolio.  I work from photographs, real-life, models, or my imagination and have experience with: narrative paintings, traditional/classical drawings/paintings, portraits, caricatures, still-lives, landscapes, figurative drawings/paintings, book illustrations, and murals.
