There are three broad topics to the writing I have published over the last few years.  The first topic is academic and technical writing.  I have over six years experience in the computer industry, in both technical support and private consulting as a Lotus Notes Database Administrator.  I also have degrees in Physics and Aerospace Engineering with many papers and presentations written during both degrees.  Serious, professional and well researched, these articles have been in published scientific journals and conference proceedings.  If you require a science or technical article that is properly researched and well written, you will be very satisfied with my results.

The second broad topic I've enjoyed over the years is travel writing.  Whether it is back country camping at the Grand Canyon, or going to the opera in Vienna, (in hiking boots no less!), I love to travel and it shows in the writing style I use in my articles.  Usually funny, (at least I think so anyways), and always informative, I adopt a very conversational style to my travel writing that is enjoyable to read.  

Finally, I also enjoy writing science fiction and fantasy.  I've ran role playing games for many years, and much of my work in developing interesting story lines and believable characters comes from this foundation.
